Overview
Ilone and George Kremer have established an exceptional collection of Dutch and Flemish Old Masters, with a specific focus on the Dutch Golden Age, which has been made available to audiences worldwide through the creation of a unique virtual museum. The collaborative effort to continue managing the collection is a true family endeavor, with Joël Kremer carrying forward their legacy through the innovative VR museum.
This panel will explore the dynamics of multigenerational art collecting. It will examine how the passion for art and an existing collection are passed down from one generation to the next and how this influences their collecting habits, the future of the collection, and changing interests over time.
