Overview

This conversation on conservation, in collaboration with ICOM-CC, explores current efforts and future opportunities for the field of conservation. The conversation spotlights the upcoming conservation of Pietro Francavilla’s Venus with a Nymph and Satyr (1600), for which the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art received the 2024 TEFAF Museum Restoration Fund, and delves into the connections between restoration funding, education, and their vital roles in supporting conservation efforts.
