About the Work

L’arbre des batailles, l’heure blue, 2022

(a new melange of the elements spiced with Honoré Bonet and William Blake)

This work is a life’s tree or a tree of life*,

a living tree of three,

3 levels;

the celestial sphere known as the SOUL,

the earth known as the SOIL and

the SUBTERRANEAN MASS generating a mess of subterranean elements**.

Subterranean elements which cause seasonal*** eruptions often of a ritualistic**** nature.

This work shows a life’s tree at “l’heure bleue”,

when the world wakes up and the day covers the night.

* Life as the elements are a living substance.

**Subterranean energies and elements: the 7 elements for a performance;

glass, wax fire, white, smoke, vandal, nature.

***Seasonal or cyclical, to conquer the faith in unlimited progress.

****Ritual spectacle in a holy sphere, not to be mixed with esthetic emotions of

the secular drama known entertainment business, wink wink.
