About the Work

Be known famously for the very own style of creativity world wide, "PAINTERLY" is a key word from art jeweler FENG J’s work, which is from her invention Pigment of Gem, as if the French impressionists with their colors on palette. Dated back to the years when FENG spent years with her gemstones cutters to build up ‘Colored-Gem-Bank’, a color gems pool collects thousands of different hue, saturation, light and shadow in a very specific double-rose-cut style, to let FENG employ the uncommon cutting stones to form art jewel as brush works on canvas, through the jewels you might see Claude Monet’s glittering reflection on Seiner River or Georges Seurat’s divisionism touch in pixel-like layout of setting to optically mix the visual.

A dragonfly brings wind to the visitors, as it dances in the air. The very graphic shape shapes FENG J’s Contemporary Art Nouveau, the art jeweler renovates the 19th century movement with her very original style today in 21st century .
