Inspired by the Mughal predilection for chevron patterns matched with floral motifs, the naturalistic forms are somewhat contrasted with the significance of geometry and its divine interpretation on the Safavid court, influences from which were prominent on the subcontinent. The moval-cut diamonds, set to from lily buds atop of the waves, thus, enhance the theme, teleporting to a Garden of Paradise.
