Jazz Night

During TEFAF, experience the diverse music program of Jazz Night on March 16 from 5–10PM. Enjoy a wide range of music styles, such as jazz, funk, pop, rhythm & blues, and French chansons, performed by Good Busy Brass Band, Hans Dulfer & Planet T, Ben Son Mosquito, and Luci and the Heartbreakers. Admission to all concerts is free. Jazz Night is organized by Jekerjazz Maastricht and supported by the Leisure Fund and Friends of TEFAF.

Heritage unlocked maastricht embraces tefaf 2025

Heritage Unlocked

Heritage Unlocked is a unique opportunity to discover the stories and history of various monuments in the historical center of Maastricht. On Tuesday, March 18 between 6:30 and 8:30PM, there will be tours exploring churches (Religion & Art), city council venues (Governance & Art), and Maastricht University buildings (Science & Art).

3 Emerging Artists Unveiled

Emerging Artists Unveiled

During TEFAF, various venues in Maastricht—including hotels, galleries, bars, and restaurants—will showcase young artistic talents (ages 16 through 30). These artists were selected through an open call promoted by local art institutions and reviewed by a professional jury. Art lovers can use a special walking route and map to choose which locations and talents they want to explore.

Time Travellers

Time Travellers consists of 12 contemporary video works projected from empty shop windows in the city center of Maastricht, on display from March 12 through April 6. Each video work is inspired in its own way by the classical painting and sculpture of the great masters from the 15th to the 19th century.

City Walk: The Maastricht of Jan van Steffeswert

During this guided walk, an expert from the Stichting Restauratie Atelier Limburg (SRAL) will lead participants through the historical journey of the renowned woodcarver Jan van Steffeswert’s life and work. Participation is free, but registration is required by mail to [email protected].
