Discover 7,000 Years of Art, from Ancient to Contemporary

TEFAF Maastricht is widely regarded as the world’s premier fair for fine art, antiques, and design, bringing together 7,000 years of art history under one roof. Featuring over 260 prestigious dealers from some 20 countries, TEFAF Maastricht is a showcase for the finest art works currently on the market. Alongside the traditional areas of Old Master paintings, antiques, and classical antiquities that cover approximately half of the fair, you can also find modern and contemporary art, photography, jewelry, 20th century design, and works on paper.

Every March TEFAF Maastricht attracts art professionals and connoisseurs from around the globe to the Netherlands, including major private and institutional collectors, art consultants, interior designers, dealers, students, and the culturally curious. Around 200 experts organized into 30 specialist vetting committees examine every single object for sale at the fair for condition, quality, and authenticity. The Art Loss Register supports this rigorous vetting procedure and allows potential buyers to purchase with confidence.

Discover the depth and breadth of works on offer at TEFAF across ten sections of the fair: Ancient Art, Antiques, Design, Jewelry, Modern & Contemporary Art, Paintings, Works on Paper, Showcase, Focus, and Arts of Africa & Oceania.

TEFAF’s unique curational Focus section dedicates stands to solo artists—from bastions of the art historical canon to rediscoveries. For the 2026 edition, the section spans masterpieces of Abstract Expressionism, Scandinavian and De Stijl design, alongside expositions on French Realist painting, African Modernist ceramics, and American photography.

The next generation of art dealers are once again provided a platform in TEFAF Showcase. The nine featured galleries representing seven different countries have unearthed treasures from 1,000 years of art history and provide a microcosm of the diversity of the objects, mediums, and periods on display at the fair.

TEFAF Maastricht additionally offers a rich lineup of programming that connects collectors and visitors with leading experts from the TEFAF global art community. The in-person talks program aims to foster conversations between some of the world’s most illustrious minds, covering industry insights and inspiring new and experienced art collectors and lovers.
