Philippe Mendes opened the Galerie Mendes in Paris in 2007, with a particular emphasis on 16th to 19th century French, Italian, Spanish and of course Portuguese paintings.
Approximately twice a year Philippe Mendes organizes a thematic exhibition, which bears witness of his ruling passion for unique and distinctive paintings. A catalogue, written in collaboration with leading experts and curators, accompanies one of these exhibitions.
