Frides Laméris Glass and Antiques shows the history of glass by presenting rare and topquality glasses of each period: Roman glass with its subtle colouring and shapes, Venetian glass in different techniques or the festive lustre of 18th century leadglass with its different types of engravings. In addition we always have a small collection of objets d’art that in one way or the other are related to the glasses and help to understand their history or beauty.
Frides Laméris Glass and Antiques is specialized in the Arts of Fire. The collection is very versatile. The Roman glass with its soft colours differs so much from the clear 16th and 17th-century Venetian and Façon de Venise glass with its elegant forms or sparkling shine of the eighteenth-century engraved ceremonial goblets. Furthermore one finds Asian porcelain from the 16th and 17th centuries and earthenware and tiles from Delft, Spain and Italy. At Tefaf the company will focus mainly on glass.
