Established in 1960 as revivalists for the Pre-Raphaelites, the Maas Gallery has championed Victorian paintings for over 60 years. Following the death of founder Jeremy Maas in 1996, his son Rupert Maas now owns and runs the Gallery, which deals in Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite, Romantic and Modern British pictures and sculpture.
Rupert has maintained the tradition set by his father and has arranged a number of important exhibitions at the Maas Gallery, including 'Pre-Raphaelites and Romantics', 'John Ruskin and his Circle', and 'Burne-Jones', along with annual exhibitions of British Pictures.
